CUCU statement on Christchurch attacks

We offer our heartfelt support and solidarity to the families and communities devastated by the mass murder of worshippers at mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand. We stand alongside our Muslim sisters and brothers against Islamophobia, in our community in Cambridge and across the world. We encourage those who can to attend the demonstrations scheduled tomorrow to mark UN Anti-Racism Day in London and elsewhere, to show that those who sow hate and division will be met instead with unity and solidarity.

There will be a coach from Cambridge to the London demonstration, leaving at 9.30am on Saturday March 16th from the Backs on Queen’s Road.
