Thank you to @DanielZeichner @CamDefendEd @alexandrabulat @AliceFlora11 @drrhianelinor for their words and support today. Despite the senior tutors moving online to avoid us, some in central colleges had to deal with complaints from students still. One of the pathetic arguments used by management to evade our demand for a pay rise has historically been that a lot of people do not spend more than 30 minutes preparing for a supo.

REALLY? INCLUDING BOOKING A ROOM, CHECKING READING LISTS AND ANSWERING STUDENTS' EMAILS?

I couldn't make the rally this afternoon, but as I embark upon another chunk of preparation which takes my hourly rate for research-led teaching at this prestigious institution down to a princely £9.20, I couldn't be prouder to call these people my colleagues. https://twitter.com/CambridgeUCU/status/1530179886714916869
