Gaza: a teach-in

Gaza: A Teach-In
Tuesday 31 October 1-2.30pm

Room 3, Lecture Block, Sidgwick site

We are together watching as a massive assault on Gaza stands to brutally transform a people, a region, and the world. Hundreds under rubble, thousands in morgues, a Palestinian population of 2.2 million in Gaza is under an incessant bombardment that follows nearly two decades of siege and blockade. How did this happen? Is this a proportionate response to the Hamas attack, killings, and kidnappings of October 7? What is our government doing, and why? Join us as we explore the histories of this conflict, and examine together the perils of the current moment.

This event is organised by staff and students at the University of Cambridge. Members of staff and students from multiple disciplines will provide opening contributions followed by a discussion.

Hosted by Cambridge UCU in collaboration with Cambridge University PalSoc.
